The directory stores up to 50 entries which are shared by the telephone

base and all system handsets.

To add a directory entry:

Enter the phone number >> Press MENU/SELECT twice.

Enter the name >> Press SELECT.

While entering names and numbers, you can:

Press DELETE to backspace and erase a digit or character.

Press

/ to move the cursor to the left or right.

Press 0 to add a space (for entering names only).

Press and hold PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a P appears).

Press TONE to add (shown as ) or QUIET# to add # (shown as ).

To review and dial a directory entry:

Press .

Press

to browse to the desired directory;

or use the dialing keys to start a name search.

Press / to dial.

To edit a directory entry:

When the desired entry displays >> Press SELECT.

Edit the number >> SELECT.

Edit the name >> SELECT.

To delete a directory entry:

When the desired entry displays >> Press DELETE.

The screen displays Delete contact?

>> Press SELECT.

Directory

You can turn on the quiet mode for a period of time. During this period, all

tones (except paging tone) are muted.

To set and turn on:

Press and hold QUIET

Enter the duration (1-12 hours) >> Press SELECT.

To turn off:

Press and hold QUIET

Set quiet mode
